Adecco is currently hiring a General Labourer for a full-time contract opportunity in Whitby, ON. Responsibilities

Hammer, cut, drill, and prepare industrial beams and inserts for production.

Assist machine operators with daily fabrication and manufacturing activities.

Support assembly, packaging, and material preparation processes.

Load, unload, lift, and move materials throughout the facility.

Safely package finished products for shipment and storage.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.

Ensure production activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Follow operating procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Assist with general housekeeping and other production support duties as required.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials.

Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
