This role is a 12 month contract/assignment
The Portfolio (Marketing) Manager is accountable for developing robust marketing portfolio strategies and facilitating best in class execution of the strategies in the market place. Portfolio management includes management of both products (diets) and services (digital, new technologies, etc.).
What are we looking for?
Bachelors Degree in Business/Marketing and/or Animal Science/Nutrition or equivalent level of relevant experience
3-5 years of marketing related experience preferred
Sales experience is a great asset
Pet Industry and animal health experience are highly prioritized and strongly valued.
Proven track record of delivering successful new products, services, platforms, campaigns or online tools.
Successful leadership of cross-functional teams and ability to work individually and as part of a team are critical
Digital savvy and passion for new technologies is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to test, learn, pivot on products and services to determine the best route-to-market
What will be your key responsibilities?
Provide thought leadership in terms of category vision, consumer understanding, sales strategy, digital needs and process, in order to drive overall business growth.
Prepare Long Term strategic thinking and direction across the portfolios through leveraging the Strategic Planning team process and effectively understanding customer insights (Key Stakeholders, Customers and Pet Owners)
Determine specific strategies for delivering the appropriate portfolio support (products and services) and messaging for our target audience
Develop and execute marketing plans and drive best-in-class execution at clinic level (independent clinic and key accounts)
Responsible for achieving overarching Royal Canin Pillar sales targets, share and GSV targets
Responsible for planning process (business review, strategic plan development, budgeting) for portfolio
Lead cross functional team to develop and execute the strategy and marketing plans
