We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and versatile Rough Framing & Exterior Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the structural backbone of our projects, from floors and walls to complex roof layouts. Additionally, you will transition to the exterior envelope, executing high-quality installation of siding, trim, and other exterior finishes.

Key Responsibilities
- Framing & Structural:
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and structural plans.
- Lay out and construct wood and/or steel framing for residential or commercial structures (floors, walls, ceilings, and roofs).
- Build and install stairs, trusses, rafters, and engineered wood products (LVLs, Joists).
- Ensure all framing is plumb, level, square, and compliant with local building codes.
- Exterior Systems:
- Install exterior wall sheathing, building wrap (weather-resistant barriers), and flashing systems to ensure a watertight envelope.
- Install various types of exterior siding (e.g., Hardie Plank/fiber cement, vinyl, wood, cedar shingles, engineered wood).
- Install exterior trim, soffits, fascia, and continuous venting systems.
- Assist with the structural installation of exterior windows and doors.
- Site Safety & Leadership:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Safely operate all hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment, and framing nailers.
- Work comfortably at heights using scaffolding, ladders, and fall-protection equipment.
- Mentor or direct apprentice carpenters and laborers on-site when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in residential or commercial rough framing and exterior envelope installation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in roof cutting (common, hip, and valley rafters), stair layout, and proper flashing techniques.
- Tools: Must possess a reliable vehicle and a comprehensive set of personal hand tools (framing rig, speed square, levels, tool belt, etc.). Company provides heavy power tools and staging.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, perform strenuous physical labor throughout the day, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Certifications: valid Driver's License with a clean abstract[Optional but recommended, e.g., Fall Protection certification, First Aid].

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
