Overview
We are a garment manufacturing company in Scarborough looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing garment sampling and production follow-up.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure orders are on schedule.
- Monitor production progress and help resolve issues promptly.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Prepare and update production records and related documentation.
- Support the merchandising team with daily administrative and coordination tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the garment or textile industry.
- General knowledge of knitted fabrics and garment manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to learn, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an asset.
