We are currently looking for a full time, hardworking employee to work in our Mississauga, ON branch with advancement opportunities.
Position Summary
This Shipping & Receiving/Driving position will start in the shipping and receiving department to become familiar with the product and processes while working towards an Inside Sales Representative/Parts Person role in our Grande Prairie, Alberta branch.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receiving and recording of incoming parts stock orders and accurately warehousing
- Picking and packaging of parts orders for shipping to customers
- Pick up & delivery of product in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas
- Drive the company half-ton truck in a cautious and responsible manner
- Responsible for keeping company vehicle clean and in good repair
- Maintain friendly, courteous communications with customers keeping them updated regarding the status of their deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract required
- Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Confident and positive demeanor
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Some mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset
- Self-Starter who takes the initiative to get things done
- Multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract
