Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related trades, with the ability to execute detailed architectural concrete projects. This role involves working on high-quality finishes for commercial and residential structures, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to achieve exceptional results in concrete aesthetics and durability.
Responsibilities
- Finish and detail architectural concrete surfaces!
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during finishing processes
- Install rebar and formwork according to project specifications, ensuring structural integrity
- Perform masonry tasks such as caulking, restoration, and renovation work as needed
- Handle heavy lifting and material placement with proper safety procedures
- Apply techniques such as concrete forming, screeding, troweling, and sealing to achieve desired textures and finishes
- Coordinate with carpentry, welding, flooring installation, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction trades with an emphasis on architectural finished
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for precise project execution
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking materials, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, flooring installation, restoration, and renovation processes
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights as required
