Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children through play-based activities, hands-on experiences, and structured lessons.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a cohesive learning community.
- Maintain organized records of student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Utilize effective time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with computer operation for lesson planning and record keeping.
- Experience in special education is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing classroom dynamics and fostering teamwork among staff.
