COTA Aviation is a growing Aerospace and Defense manufacturer in Parksville, BC. We machine and finish complex parts for demanding applications across air, land, and sea, as we work toward becoming the most advanced Aerospace and Defense manufacturer in Canada.
We are looking for a Production Support Worker. This is an entry-level role and a real path into aerospace manufacturing. No machining experience is needed. We will train the right person.
If you are reliable, careful, hands-on, and interested in a skilled trade in a high-tech industry, this could be a great fit.
What you will do
You will help prepare, finish, clean, move, and organize aerospace components as they move through the shop.
Typical work may include
Tumbling and deburring parts
Sand blasting and surface preparation
Parts cleaning and washing
Material handling
Preparing parts for inspection, finishing, or shipment
Supporting machinists, quality, and production as needed
Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
Following written work instructions and quality requirements
Helping maintain COTA’s standards for safety, FOD control, and workmanship

You do not need aerospace or machining experience. We are more interested in attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

Previous shop, warehouse, manufacturing, trades, automotive, marine, construction, hand tool, forklift, or WHMIS experience is an asset.

Because of our defense work, candidates must be eligible to work under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
You must also be able to:
Work full-time, day shift in Parksville, BC
Safely perform hands-on production work
Follow safety rules, work instructions, and quality requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
