ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
- Certificate of journeyman for the Province of Ontario as a licensed electrician.
- Minimum of five (5) years electrical experience installing, operating and maintaining 600/220/110 volt distribution systems, transformers, branch circuitry, diesel generators, induction motors and electrical control circuits.
- Ability to perform duties requiring heavy lifting and working in non-air conditioned mechanical areas and confined spaces
- Must be willing to work shifts and/or weekends and on call Minimum Grade 12 education.
- College level Certification in related electrical field.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
- Experience in the installation and operation of Building Automation Systems (Siemens)
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Competent in office automation ( Word, Outlook, Excel) and associated computer skills
- Personal transportation to provide service response to both campuses..
