Trillium Architectural Products supplies doors, hardware and security products for construction projects. We are looking for experienced Delivery Assistant to join our Shipping and Receiving team. The Applicant must be physically able to lift and carry heavy loads.
You will ride in our 5-ton truck to assist with material deliveries to construction sites within the Greater Toronto Area. This involves safely delivering doors and hardware, handling steel frames and hand-bombing doors.
This job involves lifting, carrying heavy loads and using stairs.
Responsibilities:
- Dependable, on-time daily attendance
- Help load and unload truck
- Assist Delivery Driver in making safe, smooth and efficient deliveries
- Lift and carry material to designated locations on construction sites
- Follow all safety protocols in warehouse and job sites, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Work efficiently at all times
Qualifications:
- Applicants with previous delivery experience are strongly preferred, so be sure to indicate this in your application
- Must arrive on time and prepared to work each workday
- Able to lift and carry heavy loads over 50 lbs.
- Must have steel-toed boots (reimbursement available)
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
