Job Title: Maintenance Lead
Location: NorthStar Mountain Village
Job Summary: The Maintenance Lead responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of our timeshare/short term stay resort. This role ensures that all facilities, equipment, and amenities are in excellent working condition, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee daily maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the longevity and efficiency of resort facilities and equipment.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Emergency Response: Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly, minimizing downtime and inconvenience to guests.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in maintenance is an asset, preferably in a hospitality or timeshare setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance or facilities management are a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Schedule: 4 on 4 off work schedule. Must be available to work some weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
