Newhook Trenching is a very busy U/G utility contractor and we require experienced HDD Driller to help facilitate immediate growth. We are one of eight national service providers for Shaw Communications and we are looking for quality field personnel to help lead our growing civil construction workforce.
HDD Driller required. The ideal applicant will be familiar with Subsite locating systems, specifically the Recon series, but it is not a necessity. All applicants with any drilling/locating experience will be considered MUST HAVE CLASS 1 DL.
The ideal applicant will have experience with Ditch Witch HDDs, specifically 2020 drills and bigger. Applicants with experience with any type of HDD will be considered. The successful applicant will drill/locate for 3028. Duties will include drilling/locating all drill shots; working with the project foreman to mobilize and set up the drill; changing out drill heads and reamers; changing out rod boxes when required; thoroughly pre-plan and/or walk through proposed drill jobs prior to drilling; perform conduit tie-ins and various other aspects of utility construction. Class 1 DL required.
