Job Summary
The Employee Relations Coordinator supports Human Resources by fostering positive employee relations, ensuring consistent application of company policies, and helping resolve workplace concerns. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding workplace issues, employee engagement, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Employee Relations Coordinator to join our growing company. Responsibilities
- Respond to employee inquiries, concerns, and workplace complaints.
- Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts.
- Maintain confidential employee relations records.
- Assist with progressive discipline and performance improvement processes.
- Act as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, employee relations issues, and workplace concerns
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate disputes to promote constructive solutions
- Support change management initiatives by communicating updates and assisting with transition processes
- Maintain accurate records of employee interactions, investigations, and resolutions within HRIS systems
- Assist in conducting exit interviews, onboarding sessions, and employee engagement activities
- Support training & development programs by coordinating sessions and tracking participation using HRIS tools like Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors
Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of HR or employee relations experience preferred.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and human resources best practices.
- CHRP designation (or progress toward designation) considered an asset.
- Proven experience in human resources management or employee relations roles with a strong understanding of HR best practices
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, or Ceridian for data entry and record keeping
- Experience with project management principles to coordinate initiatives effectively across teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and professionally
- Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, reporting, and documentation

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
