Sales Representative — Trial Class Setter (Kids Fitness)

Hours: Part-time or Part- time Remote 10-12 hrs/week. Afternoons and weekends required.
Languages: English required. Mandarin or Cantonese strongly preferred.

We're Richmond's leading kids' parkour and obstacle training facility — over 450 active families, ages 4 to 12. Founded by parents, run by parents. Our students don't just train; they grow up here. We're growing fast and need a sales rep who can match the pace.
What you'll actually do
You'll handle every new lead that comes through our door — from Meta ads, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, our website, and referrals — and turn them into trial-class bookings, then bundle customers. About 85% of your day is conversation. The other 15% is admin and CRM updates.
Daily:
Respond and follow up on incoming leads during business hours (SMS, email, WhatsApp, WeChat, phone)
Book trial classes by understanding the parent's situation, the child's age and personality, and matching them to the right slot
Convert trial-class attendees into 10/12/15-class bundle purchases
Maintain accurate notes on every interaction in our CRM
Follow up with existing customers approaching renewal
You're great for this role if you:
- Genuinely like parents. You can read parental anxiety in the first sentence of an email and respond to it. You don't get frustrated with parents who ask 14 questions before booking.
- Are organized to a fault. When 30 leads land in your inbox on Monday morning, you have a system, not a panic. You can tell us exactly when you'll follow up with each of them and through which channel.
- Communicate well in writing AND on the phone. Most of this job is messaging, but a 15-minute phone call closes more bundles than 30 emails.
- Are coachable. You're open to feedback, you don't get defensive when something didn't work, and you ask for help before missing a target.
- Know basic CRM and sales tools. Google Sheets, email automation, WhatsApp Business, basic Excel. We'll train you on our specific stack (Lark, our internal Sheets-based CRM, iClassPro).
You're probably not a fit if:
You hate "boring" work like updating a CRM or sending a polite follow-up to someone who didn't reply
You're uncomfortable selling — even when the product genuinely helps the customer
You can only work weekdays 9–5 (most of our leads come in evenings and weekends)
Background that helps:
- 1+ years in inbound sales, customer success, retail closing, or front-desk roles at fitness/wellness/dance/kids' programs
- Experience with kids' programs as a parent, coach, or admin
- Familiarity with Meta lead forms, WhatsApp Business, WeChat
- Background in any high-empathy customer-facing role (vet receptionist, dental front desk, daycare director, real estate agent who listens more than they talk)
You don't need a degree. You need to like people and follow through.
Schedule: Flexible within our peak hours — afternoons (2pm–8pm) and weekend mornings are required
