THE OPPORTUNITY
Our social media partner is closing her business, and we're looking for an established content professional to take over a fully built program. This is not a build-from-scratch role. The playbook is done: years of established templates, content routine, brand voice, and posting rhythm are all in place. We need someone who can step in, run it at a high level, and make it better. You'll have a transition window with our current partner through mid-August, so you won't be starting cold.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create, schedule, and post all content across our social channels (Instagram and Facebook primarily)
- Join a quick weekly content planning check-in with our office manager
- Lead a one-hour in-person video/content session with the full team once a month — you'll plan it, film it, and turn it into content
- Keep us on top of trends, formats, and fresh content ideas
- Coordinate content around new listings as they go live
WHO YOU ARE
- Type A — no exceptions. You're organized, proactive, and deadline-driven. You run the calendar, you chase the details, and nothing ever slips through the cracks. We should never have to ask "did that get posted?"
- Warm and genuinely fun to work with — we're a close team, and personality fit matters as much as the work. We want someone we click with on a personal level
- An established creator — you have a portfolio, a website or professional social presence, and work you're proud to show
- Skilled at short-form video (reels), graphics, captions, and scheduling tools
- Local to Kelowna and available for the monthly in-person session
- Real estate experience is a bonus, not a requirement
CONTRACT DETAILS
Flat retainer of $1,300 - $1,600/month as an independent contractor, with a written contract. Estimated [10–15] hours per week, largely on your own schedule outside the weekly check-in and monthly team session.
