Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Home Renovation Consultant to join our team. This role involves guiding clients through renovation projects, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, technical knowledge in construction and design, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Engage with clients to understand their renovation needs and provide tailored solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and showcase renovation options
- Manage inside sales activities, including upselling additional services and products
- Develop detailed sketches and plans for renovation projects, utilizing organizational skills and technical expertise
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and account management with accuracy and professionalism
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project specifications are met efficiently
- Assist in merchandising efforts by showcasing renovation materials and design options in the showroom or via digital platforms
- Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout the sales process, ensuring client retention and referrals
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in product demos and promotional events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, or retail sales environments
- Some overall knowledge of renovation, construction, and merchandising tools
- Excellent communication skills, and customer service abilities
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for pricing and measurements
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in product demos, upselling, inside sales, and marketing strategies is preferred
- Knowledge of remodeling processes, design trends, and renovation techniques is advantageous
