Sales Representative — Pre-engineered Steel Buildings
Hybrid Steel Buildings is hiring commission-based sales representatives to help customers across Canada purchase pre-engineered steel buildings and custom steel building solutions.
We provide inbound leads through our marketing campaigns. Your role is to contact interested customers, understand their project, collect the required details, request pricing from our estimating team, and guide the customer through to close.
This is an independent contractor, commission-based position suited for someone who is organized, confident on the phone, and comfortable selling higher-ticket building packages.
Responsibilities
Contact and qualify inbound leads by phone and email
Discuss customer projects, including building size, location, timeline, budget, and intended use
Collect the details needed for quoting and submit them to our estimating team
Review completed quotes with customers and answer basic project questions
Recommend suitable solutions for garages, workshops, farm buildings, commercial buildings, container cover systems, barndominiums, and other steel structures
Manage leads, notes, tasks, and follow-ups in our CRM
Follow up consistently to move opportunities through the sales process
Work with management and estimating support when needed
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of sales experience
Strong phone and email communication skills
Organized and able to manage multiple leads at once
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a commission-based role
Able to learn product information and explain options clearly to customers
Professional, reliable, and consistent with follow-up
Experience in construction, building materials, real estate, home improvement, or contractor sales is an asset
Bilingual candidates are an asset
CRM experience is an asset

Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor position.
Full compensation details will be provided during the application process. Sales representatives who consistently manage their pipeline and close deals can target annual earnings of $80,000–$150,000+.
