Labourer/Mechanical Aptitude

Jasper Tank custom manufactures truck and trailer-mount tanks as well as our new line of Van bodies. We are a leader in tank manufacturing in North America building a reputation for quality for over 60 years.
We are looking for labourers with mechanical aptitude for final assembly at our Acheson, Alberta location.
This is a permanent full time position.
Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work, Public Transit is not available
Duties include:
- Assist with the construction of van bodies
- Assist with installing tanks onto trucks and trailers
- Assist with installation of wiring harness on trucks and trailers
- Assist in installation of the required plumbing on tanks
- Assist with installation wiring harnesses for truck and trailer mounted tanks.
Skills and Abilities
- Attention to detail is a requirement
- Delicate workmanship
- Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
- Able to follow required safety protocols
- Able to lift 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Able to communicate in a team environment
- Problem solving, critical thinking and decision making
- Able to communicate both orally and written with a keen eye for detail
Rate of pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
