JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Dynamic and engaging to customers in conversation being viewed as friendly and passionate about the job
- Your interior design skill is based on the principles of design in creating a balance, a rhythm, and emphasizes your sense of colour and style. The advice you provide assists customers in their confidence and in their furniture needs
- Update and maintain the inventory for two locations including the cleaning and presentation of the store
- Completion of customer invoices with attention to detail on the details of the customer and their order.
- Maintain, update and organize the various manufacturer books, price lists, fabric samples and wood samples on a regular basis
- Provide follow-up between manufacturers and customers maintaining customer orders, confirmations and stock orders
- Answer phone calls for customers and manufacturers courteously, directing as required
- Communicate with customers on the progress of orders, request(s) and set up assemblies and deliveries as required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Grade 12 Diploma
- 1-2 years of retail experience
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good attention to detail
- Enjoy change and challenges and is able to adapt to change quickly
- Strong ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work under time constraints Salary: $36,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
