Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a safe and reliable driver with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This role involves operating trucks and equipment for a variety of excavation and hauling projects around Prince Rupert and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles and related equipment.
- Transport materials, equipment, and aggregate to and from job sites.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with site operations when required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence (required).
- Previous driving/hauling experience preferred.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle outdoor work in all conditions.
