Intake Coordinator / Therapist / Mental Health Clinician
(MSW, RSW, RP)
We are looking for a warm, thoughtful, and growth-oriented therapist to join our collaborative mental health team.
This role combines intake assessment, brief psychotherapy, triage support, risk assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a supportive environment. We work with adults and families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, stress-related difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and complex life transitions.

What the Role Includes
You’ll be working with a dynamic, tight knit team focused on delivering modern forward-thinking healthcare. With Mindstride, your responsibilities with include:
- Conducting intake and mental health assessments
- Providing brief, structured psychotherapy
- Supporting triage and crisis/risk assessment when needed
- Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and other allied health.
- Participating in consultation and supervision opportunities
- Maintaining clear and timely clinical documentation
- Opportunities for program development and content creation
- Initial commitment of approximately 1 day per week, with anticipated growth to 2 days per week based on demand.
- Compensation: $60/hour (contractor position).
- Opportunities for additional clinical work and professional growth may be available through affiliated an established private practice opportunities for strong candidates who are a good fit for the team.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Professional Experience
- Experience delivering psychotherapy and intake interviews
- Training in several therapy modalities (for example, Cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, emotion focused, trauma focused).
- Experience with risk assessment and crisis interventions.
- Strong documentation and organization skills.
- Knowledge and proficiency in privacy and ethics.
- Research knowledge and experience considered an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.

Qualifications
- Registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO
- Member in good standing with College of Psychotherapists or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Experience providing psychotherapy or counselling to adults
- Supervision and consultation are available for appropriate candidates
- Education or Accreditation or accreditation in progress from a post-secondary institution of recognized standing

Pay: $60.00 per hour
