Part Time or Full Time Pharmacist - Yakimets Guardian Pharmacy
Yakimets Guardian Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated, independent family pharmacy that has been proudly serving the Fort Saskatchewan community for close to 15 years. We pride ourselves on building genuine relationships with our patients and practicing to the full extent of our scope in a supportive work environment.
We are looking for a friendly, professional pharmacist to join our team. While reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring professional dispensing and pharmacy practices as well as maintaining high levels of customer service.
Location: Fort Saskatchewan is located just 20 minutes from North Edmonton, and 15 minutes from Sherwood Park. We are conveniently located in a medical building so this is the perfect location for those who desire a close, collaborative work environment with other healthcare professionals.
Schedule: Part Time or Full Time (24-40 hours/week); no late evenings,and we are closed on Sundays and statutory holidays. Occasionally you will be required to help out at our other locations in Gibbons (20 minute drive from North Edmonton).
Qualifications:
- License: Active Pharmacist in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Certifications: Authorization to administer injections is required; Additional Prescribing Authorization is a strong asset.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team setting, excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism are all requirements.
- Technical Skills: Experience with PropelRx software system is preferred, but not a requirement.
