Bagging Line Worker

BC Global Energy Inc. is looking for three reliable and motivated team members to join our manual bagging operation at our wood pellet facility in Thornloe, Ontario.
As a Bagging Line Worker, you will be part of the team responsible for turning our finished bulk product into properly bagged, palletized and shipment-ready products for our customers.
This is a hands-on, physical position focused specifically on bagging, packaging and finished-goods handling.
Previous experience in a pellet plant or industrial environment is not required. We are looking first and foremost for people who are dependable, safety-conscious, willing to work and interested in growing with our company.
What You’ll Do
· Operate and work alongside our manual bagging line.
· Handle and stack finished 40 lb / approximately 18 kg bags.
· Build finished-product skids accurately and consistently.
· Wrap, label and prepare completed skids for storage and shipment.
· Perform visual checks of bags, seals, labels and finished packaging.
· Keep the bagging line and surrounding work areas clean, organized and safe.
· Assist with organization and basic tracking of finished-goods inventory.
· Assist with movement and organization of skids when trained and authorized to do so.
· Follow all company health, safety and workplace procedures.
· Report damaged bags, packaging issues, unsafe conditions or other problems to the supervisor.
· Work together with the bagging team to maintain an efficient and organized workflow.
This position is dedicated to our bagging and finished-goods operation and does not include operation of the pellet mills, dryer or other pellet-production equipment.

We’re looking for candidates who:

· Can safely lift, handle and stack bags weighing approximately 40 lb / 18 kg throughout the workday.
· Can stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive physical tasks during a 10-hour shift.

· Can follow instructions and established procedures.
· Keep their workplace clean and organized.
· Are willing to learn and take on greater responsibility over time.
Previous forklift experience, skid handling, warehousing or finished-goods inventory experience is an asset, but not required.
Training can be provided to suitable candidates.
Your Schedule
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position built around a four-day workweek.
Monday – Thursday
10 hours per day
40 hours per week
There is no regularly scheduled weekend work.
During busier periods, particularly during the winter season, additional hours may be available on Fridays when operationally required.
Compensation & Employment

· Statutory vacation, public holiday and other employment entitlements in accordance with applicable Ontario employment standards

The Lead Bagging Line Operator position carries greater responsibility for the organization and coordination of the bagging operation, finished-goods handling and the bagging team — together with increased compensation appropriate to the position.
