Job Details
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines to bend and form metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Select, install, and adjust tools, dies, and machine settings for production runs
- Bend and form metal sheets to required angles, dimensions, and tolerances
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ensure finished parts meet production standards and specifications
- Conduct basic machine troubleshooting and minor maintenance when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Experience operating brake press or similar metal forming equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Physically able to lift and handle materials as required
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures in manufacturing environments
