Arsenault Bros. Construction Ltd are seeking experienced Drywallers/Lathers/Interior Systems Mechanics in the Halifax area. Answering to the Foreman, the ISM will be responsible for a variety of on-site duties required for day-to-day construction operations.
Specific duties include:
- Steel framing;
- Installing drywall sheets;
- Installing furring channel, wind bracing, etc;
- Install firestoping;
- Cut and install corner beads, filling joints, etc;
- Install acoustic tile and hangers for suspended ceilings;
- Install sheathing, weather barriers, etc;
- Install insulation.
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience with interior finishing work;
- Ability to remain focused on tasks;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting;
