What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Cyber Control Assurance, you will provide Cyber Security, IT Risk expertise within RBC for enterprise applications.
What will you do?
Manages a team of Cyber Controls Assessment Analyst in their role of conducting and tracking detailed Control assessments.
Working with stakeholders, you will perform Cyber Control assessments to determine points of non-compliance and provide insight into the risks identified.
Provide support from a technical perspective to assessment analyst around complex engagement.
Act as a point of escalation on all control assessments and provide Snr Management with timely updates on issues.
Interfaces and builds key relationships with key stakeholders to ensure assessment and project objectives are met.
Provides leadership in optimization, efficiency and capacity planning for the team
Drives/supports continuous operational process improvement initiatives to improve service levels and quality of assessments
Participation in Security Review discussions, Walkthroughs and Assessments/Security Workshops.
Provide security guidance to RBC Groups when called upon, as part of the application control assessment lifecycle.
Assess security of our RBC applications with a focus on review of logical controls.
Provide ad hoc Security guidance to the stakeholder community on assessments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must - have
Team leadership experience with 4+ years of proven capability with emphasis on IT Security, IT risk management.
3+ years financial services or comparable multi-industry assessment/consulting experience.
8-10 years in information Security.
Ability to communicate to all levels within the organization as required
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security, Computing and Information Systems.
Certifications in at least one of the following CISA, CISSP, CRISC
Professional experience in security consulting and delivering larger projects/programs
Knowledge of compliance, audit and privacy policies and regulations
