Hungry Brew Hops on Main Street in Newmarket is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join its team! You will help lead the success of the daily operations and create a positive work environment and a fantastic team culture.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all company Policies & Procedures as outlined by HBH Group.
- Follow all Health & Safety standards outlined by the company
- Follow all sanitation and cleanliness standards set forth by the company
- Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis
- Attention to detail with the ability to see things from the guest’s perspective
- Maintain the standards of HBH Group.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment
- Be present and assist in providing a positive guest experience
- Maintain guest satisfaction and engage in guest service recovery when required
- Assist with recruitment, training, and coaching of all Front of House staff members
- Provide the FOH with the necessary tools, equipment, training, guidance, and support to deliver a superior guest experience
- Communicate any scheduling or staffing deficiencies to help manage labour costs
- Analyze operational problems, and establish procedures to alleviate any problems
- Responsible for shift-end, including cash-outs and ensuring that all required reconciliation documentation is completed prior to closing out the shift
- Continuously creating ways to develop the best restaurant team culture
- Create strong genuine and sincere guest relations
