Our client, a growing international organization operating across North America and the UK, is seeking a Finance & Payroll Associate to support its expanding finance function. This is a high-impact role working closely with the Finance Manager/Controller, where you will take ownership of key accounting, payroll, and operational finance processes across multiple entities. Compensation
- Annual salary: $65,000 – $75,000
- Eligible for discretionary annual bonus

Responsibilities
Month-End & Accounting
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with variance analysis and ensure accurate reporting in QuickBooks
Payroll (Multi-Jurisdictional)
- Own end-to-end payroll across Canada, the US, the UK, and contractors (Deel)
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including salary, bonuses, commissions, and contractor payments
- Manage deductions, benefits, and statutory requirements
- Handle onboarding, terminations, ROEs, and payroll compliance
- Complete payroll reconciliations across regions
Billing & AR
- Issue client invoices and support collections
- Verify purchase orders and assist with billing/revenue recognition
- Process contractor timesheets for client billing
Finance Operations
- Manage subscriptions, licenses, and renewals
- Support intercompany allocations and FX tracking
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding from a finance perspective
- Support process improvements and system updates
General Support
- Assist the Controller and the Finance team with reporting and ad hoc projects
- Support day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or payroll
- Strong experience with Canadian payroll; exposure to US and UK payroll strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or similar accounting systems
- Strong understanding of month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and billing processes
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Exposure to multi-entity or international payroll environments (Canada, US, UK, EOR/Deel) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Finance and Operations teams
- Accounting or payroll designation (e.g., PCP) is considered an asset but not required
