Job Title: Cashier / Front Counter & Shawarma Team Member

Job Summary
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and hardworking team members to join our front counter and shawarma team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, works well in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and is willing to support different areas when needed. You will be helping customers at the front, taking orders, handling payments, preparing sandwiches and wraps, and assisting in the shawarma area during busy hours.
We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, quick, clean, and able to create a positive experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take dine-in, takeout, phone, and delivery orders accurately
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, credit, and digital payments
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and customer orders with care
- Assist in the shawarma area when needed
- Package orders and double-check accuracy before handing them to customers or delivery drivers
- Answer phone calls professionally and provide menu information
- Recommend menu items, drinks, desserts, and add-ons to customers
- Keep the front counter, cashier station, dining area, and shawarma area clean and organized
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, grill, and shawarma staff to keep orders moving smoothly
- Stay calm, focused, and positive during busy rushes
- Follow restaurant policies, food safety standards, and customer service expectations
Shift Availability
We are hiring for different shifts, including:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Late-night shifts
Availability to work late-night shifts, including shifts that may go until 3:30 AM, is a strong asset and a big plus.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong English communication skills
- Friendly, confident, and professional personality
- Previous cashier, restaurant, shawarma, sandwich-making, or customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable using a POS system or willing to learn
- Able to prepare sandwiches, wraps, and support the shawarma station
- Clean and professional appearance
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy hours
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is an asset
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a bonus
