Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling vehicle parts and materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in a dealership or automotive repair shop.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to auto body repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
