BBTV has an entry-level Data analyst to join on our Professional Services Team. The Professional Services Team creates, curates, protects and publishes content for clients.

We work with household names like the NBA, Sony Pictures, Viacom and Warner Bros; within this role, you would be responsible for providing technical business insights that will support the growth and retention of accounts and provide feedback into operational improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Audit BBTV’s existing reporting systems for improvements on an ongoing basis
Execute asset management by auditing YouTube reference files and overlaps, ownership conflicts and expired and potential claims
Responsibility to understand, analyze and research areas of inconsistencies with YouTube policies, ownership, inactive reference files and metadata
Conduct ongoing reviews of results, providing key business intelligence to ensure client contract obligations are being fulfilled
Identify trends from user data
Support with onboarding and training of clients with YouTube’s ecosystem on the front and back-end
Responsible to identify problems from data and research and present timely and effective business solutions
Keep up to date with YouTube’s latest policy changes and briefing internal and external contacts
Develop a deep knowledge of YouTube’s Content Owner infrastructure, including asset and claim management
Responsible to troubleshoot issues and provide advice and solutions for clients engaged with complicated and unique structures and processes in a timely manner
Understand and clearly communicate the challenges and needs presented by YouTube’s latest policy updates and user trends globally
Provide analytical and trend insights on client accounts based on data and research on a weekly and monthly basis
Work closely with the Junior Reporting Analyst to ensure reporting requirements for internal and external purposes are accurate, relevant and useful
Generate custom reports to provide areas of improvement, inconsistencies, growth and business opportunities for various clients
Provide technical insight for budgets and forecasts as needed
Experience/Skills

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, business and/or related experience.
Experience in computer database management
Proficient in SQL queries
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to automate and generate standardized reporting
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with YouTube’s content owner is an asset
Advanced presentation and communication skills
