Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance and incident response. Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee all areas of the premises, identifying suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Control access to buildings and restricted zones by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that could lead to theft or damage and intervening appropriately.
- Stay informed about security procedures, policies, and legal requirements related to law enforcement standards.
Experience & Requirements
- Prior experience in security operations, law enforcement, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods and best practices for maintaining a secure environment.
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations with clear communication skills.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in surveillance and physical patrols.
- Certifications related to security or law enforcement are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is welcomed.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from assigned work locations.
