4 to 6 years of experience in technology risk, compliance, or controls within financial services or a regulated environmentStrong understanding of technology risk frameworks (operational risk, cyber, cloud, SDLC)Experience working with control frameworks and risk systems (e.g., GRCE or similar)Proven ability to drive remediation and influence across multiple stakeholdersStrong Excel and reporting skills (advance level)

Experience in large banking / enterprise environmentsExposure to AI governance, data risk, or emerging tech risk areasExperience with ServiceNow or workflow toolsProfessional certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISSP)Role OverviewSeeking a Senior Technology Compliance Specialist to support risk and compliance activities across technology portfolios. This role operates within the First Line of Defense and is responsible for managing control frameworks, driving issue remediation, and ensuring alignment to enterprise risk requirements and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage technology risk and compliance frameworks (PRCs, control inventory, policy adherence)Lead end-to-end issue management lifecycle (identify, track, drive remediation to closure)Partner with technology teams to embed control and compliance requirements into processes and initiativesMaintain and update control libraries, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and evolving requirementsIdentify control gaps and drive improvements to strengthen risk postureProvide risk advisory support across areas such as cyber, cloud, data, and AI governanceProduce risk and compliance reporting for senior stakeholders
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
