Job Description

Jiva Organics is a thriving Organic and Natural Food Distributor based in beautiful Burnaby, B.C. We are seeking a person who is just as passionate about ‘good, clean food’ and the environment as we are and is creative, well-organized, tech savvy GraphicDesigner. Working within a tight-knit team, you are self-motivated, detail-oriented DOER, that can unleash your creative potential ontographicart within guidelines set by the Sales/Marketing Director.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and/or updategraphicart such as digital and physical signage, flyers, sell-sheets, catalogues and othergraphicsin a timely fashion
  • Keep consistent brand image/message across all promotional collateral
  • Meet deadlines according to bi-weekly and monthly promotion schedules as well as special events as directed by the Sales/Marketing Director
  • Design and/or update marketinggraphicson e-commerce websites and social media
  • Create presentations as instructed by the Sales/Marketing Department according to tight timelines
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of allgraphiccontent
  • Create or update products photos
  • Create or update all offline or online digitalgraphiccontent on multiple platforms
  • Ensure all content is free of grammatical or numerical errors (i.e. proofread and edit content)
  • Assist the Sales/Marketing Department in creating other miscellaneousgraphiccontent as needed
  • Update the Sales/Marketing Department on project status and proactively seek guidance as required

  • You are a quick learner and can find creative solutions to problems on your own
  • You are a great communicator and quick learner, able to take constructive criticism to fine tune projects
  • You have great time management skills and able to juggle multiple projects
  • You are detail oriented and able to catch on to errors that others may have missed
  • You are tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to a variety of digital mediums
  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment as part of a family-run business


  • Well-versed in the use of Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Degree inGraphicDesign, Multimedia, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of digitalgraphicdesign experience or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress, HTML is an asset
