CANA Farms Inc – Farm Operations Assistant
CANA Farms Inc is seeking a full-time team member to join our farm. The successful candidate will be English speaking and have the ability to work in Canada. The candidate may be required to pass a criminal record check and needs to hold a driver’s license. Special consideration for those with a Class 1A license but not a limitation.
Additional skills that would be an asset include:
- Knowledge of a large-scale grain farm
- Understanding of Western Canadian agriculture field crop production
- Experience running large equipment – farm, construction or other (Tractor, Combine, High Clearance Sprayer, Highway Tractor)
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge
- Ability to run basic GPS software or the ability to learn farm machinery software
- Work in a fast-paced team environment but have the ability to work independently on your own for lengths of time.
- Strong Communication Skills – ask questions, clarify, take direction, offer feedback
- Flexibility and understanding to accommodate weather based farm operations

We are willing to offer on the job training for the right candidate and can aid in housing should that be required.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
