Are you a skilled and compassionate hygienist looking to join a dynamic orthodontic team? Our office is seeking a talented and dedicated dental hygienist who wants to make a difference in our patients lives and able to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform all orthodontic procedures and techniques, including regular adjustments, bonding of brackets, placing lingual retainers, debonding of brackets and adhesive removal, clear aligner attachments placement, appliance cementation and removal
- Intraoral Itero scanning and dental x-rays
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional patient care to ensure patient satisfaction
- Orthodontics training and applications to clinical care
- Cleaning and prepares dental treatment rooms following infection control and practice protocols
- Maintaining sterilization room, equipment and supplies
- Sterilize instruments and disinfect dental units
- Develop good communication & rapport with patients
- Works well in a team but functions independently
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Dental Hygienist License (mandatory)
- HARP certification
- Experience working in an orthodontic setting is an asset
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive patient experience
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
