We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic behaviour interventionist (BI) with experience working with young children and some knowledge of ABA to run home-based ABA sessions.
Training will be provided by a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Currently, we are looking for a BI for the following team in the Coquitlam area.
- Location: Near Coquitlam Centre
- Schedule: 2 morning sessions per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
- Learner: 4 years old
- Focus areas: Play skills, social skills, receptive and expressive language
- Experience with TouchChat is considered a strong asset
As a BI, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for implementing individualized behavioural plans, recording data, participating in scheduled team meetings, and collaborating with other team members and professionals. Your creativity and active participation will be highly valued and integral to the success of our sessions.
Requirements:
- At least 19 years of age
- Clear criminal record check
- Two references confirming reliability and fit for this work
- Minimum 1 year experience (e.g., working in a school, as a BI, or as a tutor)
- Willingness to learn and follow behaviour support plans
- Fluent in English
- Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Speech & Language Pathology fields are encouraged to apply
