About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily AR operations, ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date, and supporting healthy cash flow through timely invoicing and collections.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building positive relationships with both customers and internal teams. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, resolving account discrepancies, and delivering a high level of customer service.
What You'll Be Doing

Prepare and issue daily invoices to a portfolio of customers

Process credit notes related to product returns and trade spend deductions

Apply EFT deposits and cheque payments accurately within the accounting system

Retrieve remittance advice, deduction support, and other documentation from customer portals

Conduct collection activities by phone and email to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances

Reconcile customer accounts and investigate overdue balances or discrepancies

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and internal sales teams

Distribute monthly AR statements to customers

Maintain and update product pricing within the system

Generate reports and support sales analysis as required

Assist with administrative duties including filing, scanning, and document management

Develop a strong understanding of the customer experience and broader business operations

What You Bring
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software
-
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
-
Understanding of accounting processes, month-end close activities, and deadlines
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
-
Professional and customer-service-oriented approach
-
Experience with Adagio Accounting software is considered an asset
