Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to code and meets safety standards.
Experience in other construction activities such as painting, flooring or drywall repairs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations.
- Conduct field service work to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and quantities.
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or maintenance person tasks is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment safely.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
