Key Accountabilities:
Identifies and develops sales opportunities with existing and potential new members to meet their needs and further relationships.
Provide investment and lending services which includes preparing documentation and processing member transactions.
Generate cross sales referrals by actively promoting products and services provided by internal and external partners.
Answer product and service inquiries or forward to the appropriate internal personnel.
Apply risk management policies, procedures and audit control standards in daily activities to ensure compliance and best practice standards to mitigate risk.
Gather and prepare required member documentation for file and completes member banking transactions.
Remain current on organizational practices, policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Support initiatives identified in the branches annual business plan and make recommendations regarding activities/campaigns to achieve branch goal and objectives.
Seek opportunities to promote the organization and to develop business opportunities and refer to appropriate sales staff.
Support other team members when required
Work towards becoming mutual fund licensed as and when deemed appropriate by management

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
3 - 4 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
1 - 2 years of experience in retail banking with a demonstrated strong ability to build relationships.
Working towards or completed a certificate, diploma, degree or designation program.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Skills and Competencies:
Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and aptitude to learn other programs.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Good problem solving and negotiating skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Strong aptitude for numbers, with fast and accurate data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail.
