Job Summary

Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as, tilt rotator equipped excavators, skid loaders, dump trucks and other equipment with precision and safety awareness.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using material lifting equipment, ensuring secure handling of materials.
- Support site preparation activities by grading, trenching, and excavating according to project specifications.
- Drive commercial vehicles for transporting equipment or materials between sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Perform basic automotive repairs on equipment when necessary to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and reporting hazards immediately.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling, loading, and unloading procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for driving large vehicles safely.
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance at all times.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $22.37-$40.45 per hour
