Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role is essential in providing high-quality client care and improving the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families about communication disorders and treatment options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
Skills
- Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Proficient in medical terminology related to speech therapy and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
