Join our team as a Material Handler and Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods. Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts,(electric/propane) to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to handle pallets, boxes, and other goods, ensuring safe handling at all times
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and clamp to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Assist with order picking by accurately selecting items based on pick lists, verifying quantities, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock, replenishing shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Valid forklift certification is required; additional certifications related to warehouse safety are a plus
Pay: $21.00-$24.50 per hour
