About Us: We are a premier STEM enrichment center dedicated to fostering the next generation of innovators. We provide hands-on programs focusing on robotics, coding, and competitive science projects for motivated students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct small groups middle/high school students in executing hands-on Science Projects (chemistry, physics, or engineering-based).
- Guide students through the entire scientific method: hypothesis formulation, experimental design, data collection, and project board presentation.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and highly interactive classroom environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Background in Science, Engineering, Math, or STEM-related disciplines (Undergraduate students from UofT, Waterloo, York are highly welcomed).
- Strong passion for hands-on teaching, making complex scientific concepts easy and fun to understand.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills (Executive presence is a big plus).
- Prior experience in tutoring, camp counseling, or mentoring youth is preferred.
- Knowledge of science fair guidelines or STEM competitions is an asset.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible weekend (Saturday/Sunday) or weekday after-school hours.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($20 - $30+/hour).
