Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience, along with making drinks, helping kitchen, dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and customer interactions, with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Loading dishes in dishwasher, mop and sweep dinning during closing
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously
- Food industry knowledge including serving, food preparation, and hospitality principles is advantageous
- Reliable with good communication skills and a professional appearance
- Experience with food handling, cashiering, and kitchen operations is desirable
- MUST HAVE A VALID PRO SERVER OR WILLING TO PROVIDE IT.
