Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in their own homes. This role involves providing attentive care, stimulating activities, and healthy meal preparation to support children's development and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for caregiving, ensuring children feel loved, secure, and encouraged to explore their world.
Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children in a home setting, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks such as tidying up play areas and laundry
- Assist with daily routines including dressing, bathing, and nap times to foster independence
- Tend to emotional well-being of children.
- Set up activities and games to play with the kids.
- Driving and picking-up kids from school.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, routines, and any concerns
- Assist children with homework and school projectsQualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity

- Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Ability to perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Passionate about caregiving, teaching, and supporting children's development
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other caregivers
- Reliable, patient, energetic, and dedicated to fostering a positive home environment
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience working as a child care provider
- 2 References from previous employers
- Driver's license
- Minimum of high school diploma
Pay: $16.60 per hour
