We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in the Reggio Emilia Philosophy that has strong interpersonal skills and finds joy in working with both children and adults. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children embracing a Reggio Emilia inspired philosophy.
Maintain a high quality of care
Meet children's physical needs, care needs, and developmental needs
Children's developmental awareness, able to plan and scaffold learning activities based on children's interest
Ability to lift a min. of 40 lbs especially when working with infants and toddlers
REQUIREMENTS:
Have a diploma in Early Childhood Education / Early Child Care Certification
Willingness to learn or experience with basic care of children (feeding, diapering, sleeping)
Knowledge and understanding of children's development
Flexible, and positive attitude, willing to take initiative
Valid First Aid Certifications (Can obtain upon hire)
Valid Police Clearance

Frequent hand washing and sanitizer at all entrances
Safe distancing from other staff,
All adults wearing masks unless eating or drinking
Daily temperature checks
Digitized health screening questionnaire and sign in/out for ease of contact tracing
Frequent sanitization of high touch surfaces and classroom materials
Organization wide Covid-19 preparedness plan in case of a positive test
