We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. As a key member of our restaurant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include managing the front-of-house operations, assisting with food handling, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the Micros POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
- Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions and manage cash handling procedures with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist in serving food and beverages while adhering to proper food handling practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a front-of-house role within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
