Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Monitor cooking processes to ensure quality, consistency, and timely service
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal assembly and service
- Follow sanitation procedures and uphold health department standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment demonstrating efficiency under pressure
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and the food industry standards is advantageous
- Prior kitchen experience involving food safety practices and sanitation protocols will be beneficial for success in this role
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
