Support the maintenance department through expert troubleshooting, training, and implementation of strategies that reduce unplanned downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
Continuously evaluate and optimize manufacturing performance while supporting the introduction, integration, and scale-up of new products.
Lead all phases of assigned engineering projects, including feasibility assessments, detailed design, equipment evaluation, and final system selection.
Plan, design, and execute capital projects, offering specialized technical guidance in mold design, mechanical design, and process-equipment development.
Identify, champion, and implement cost-saving initiatives and standardization programs to improve operational efficiency and reduce long-term expenses.
Work closely with major equipment suppliers to finalize system proposals, resolve technical design challenges, and issue purchase orders or contract documents for approved projects.
Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) at supplier facilities to verify equipment performance, quality, and compliance prior to shipment.
Collaborate with production teams, contractors, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot technical issues, ensure smooth installation, and deliver projects on schedule.
Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Applied Science, Engineering Technologist diploma, or a minimum of 5+ years of equivalent industry experience.
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering bulletins, equipment manuals, and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate, influence, and lead across multidisciplinary teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for documentation, design, and reporting.
